One-Day Old Student Course Site

From the South:

1)Follow highway 93 north to Missoula. 2)Turn left (north)
on Reserve Street (which is hwy. 93) in Missoula. 3)Go approximately 3/4
mile and turn left (west) onto South Ave. There is a stoplight at South and
Reserve. 4)Go west on South Ave. approximately 2 3/4 miles to Humble Road.
5)Turn left (south) on Humble Road. 6)Go about 1/4 mile to Sundown Road and
turn right (west) onto Sundown. 7) Go approximately 1/4 mile to #4801 on the
left.

From the west:

 Approach Missoula on Interstate 90. Take exit 101 and
proceed south on Reserve St. Travel south approximately 5 miles to South
Ave. Turn right (west) on South Ave. and follow directions #4-7 above.

From the east:

Approach Missoula on Interstate 90. Pass through most of
Missoula and take exit 101. Proceed south on Reserve Street approximately 5
miles to South Ave. Turn right (west) on South Ave and follow #4-7 above.

From the north:

Approach Missoula on Interstate 90 and follow east or west
instructions, above

Directions to the University:

If approaching Missoula from the north, east, or west you will be on Interstate 90.

·        Take the Van Buren Street exit, which is the first Missoula exit if approaching from the east, or the last exit from the west.

·        Go south on Van Buren about 1 city block to Broadway.

·        Turn right at the light and go west on Broadway about 3 blocks to the stop light at Madison Street.

·        Turn left to go south on Madison Street, which will lead you to the bridge over the Clark Fork River.

·        As you come off the bridge, still travelling south, follow the right hand leg of the wye and you will come out onto Arthur Avenue.

·        Continue one block south on Arthur Avenue to Sixth Street.

·        Turn left onto Sixth and go west one block to the main parking lot at the corner of Sixth and Maurice Avenue.

·        Park in the parking lot, then walk one block south on Maurice Avenue. The Music building will be on your left.

If approaching Missoula from the south, you will come into town on Highway 93. As you come into Missoula, you will cross a bridge over the Bitterroot River and come to a stop light with a big Wal Mart store on the right (south side).

·        Go through the light on Highway 93 and past the Wal Mart.

·        Just past the Wal Mart, about ¼ mile from the light, turn right onto 39th Street. Just after the turn off, 39th bends to the left and you are driving straight east (toward the big letter "M" on the mountain).

·        Continue east on 39th Street, which will become SW Higgens when it crosses Mission Street.

·        Continue north east on SW Higgens, which will make a bend to the left and become Higgens Avenue. You do not need to turn at any intersections all the way from Highway 93 to Higgens.

·        Go north on Higgens Avenue about ½ mile to the intersection with stop light at South Avenue.

·        Turn right onto South Avenue and drive west about 5 blocks.

·        At about the fifth block, Arthur Avenue tees into South Avenue from the north. Turn left onto Arthur Avenue and drive north about 1-1/4 miles to Sixth Avenue.

·        Turn right onto Sixth Avenue and go west one block to the main parking lot at the corner of Sixth and Maurice Avenue.

·        Park in the parking lot, then walk one block south on Maurice Avenue. The Music building will be on your left.
